This two-day celebration combines snow and non-stop excitement, featuring live concerts, Preston & Steve’s Cardboard Classic, pond skimming, and a massive fireworks finale that lights up the slopes.

Preston & Steve’s Cardboard Classic 🛷
Kick off the weekend with one of the wildest winter traditions around! Preston & Steve’s Cardboard Classic returns to Montage Mountain Resorts for a full day of cardboard chaos and creativity. Starting at 10:00 AM, watch teams race their handmade cardboard sleds down the mountain in hilarious, high-speed fashion. The Preston & Steve Morning Show will broadcast live and emcee the event as sleds crash, slide, and soar!
Sled registration opens in January. Spots are limited, and there’s a $1,000 grand prize plus awesome giveaways for the most creative builds.

After the fun, stick around for The World’s Largest 80’s Party featuring M80’s — a tribute to MTV. Grab your neon gear, tease that hair, and dance the night away to the biggest hits of the decade!

Saturday at Mountainfest promises a day packed with excitement and unforgettable moments! The action starts with the always entertaining Pond Skimming Competition, where daring participants test their balance (and bravery) by skimming across icy waters in creative costumes.

As the sun sets, the Mountainfest Main Stage lights up with show-stopping performances. Get ready to rock as Billboard legends Sugar Ray take the stage, with Wheatus adding to the nostalgia and energy. All concertgoers must have a valid Mountainfest VIP Package, Lift Ticket, General Admission (GA) Concert Ticket, or be a 2025–2026 Montage Mountain Resorts Season Passholder or Indy Passholder. Lift tickets include admission to the concert on Saturday.
Spectators can attend both the Cardboard Classic and M80's live performance on Friday, March 6, free of charge.
