Celebrate the season at the 22nd Annual Clarks Summit Festival of Ice, a cherished Lackawanna County tradition that transforms Clarks Summit into a winter wonderland of art, entertainment, and community spirit. Enjoy ice sculptures, live music, local food and drinks, and family-friendly fun all weekend long. Stroll along State Street, where talented artists create breathtaking frozen masterpieces.

This year’s Clarks Summit Festival of Ice celebrates 250 years of freedom and American spirit with its theme, “The American Dream: Carved in Ice.” Explore more than 60 hand-carved ice sculptures along State Street, and watch talented artists transform blocks of ice into stunning works of art.
Enjoy a weekend of live music, family entertainment, and delicious local food and drinks from artisan vendors and nearby restaurants. Take a horse-drawn carriage ride, shop downtown specials, and don’t miss the Friday night parade — a highlight of this Abington Heights winter tradition.

The Clarks Summit Festival of Ice is a free event! Info on the 2026 festival is still being finalized – check back later for more information on a live carving schedule, ice sculpture map, and other scheduled highlights.
There are no set hours for the festival; however, live ice carving demonstrations begin mid-day Friday and continue throughout the weekend, along with other entertainment and festival highlights. Visit the Clarks Summit Festivities page for updates on weekend event details.
