You don’t want to miss Carbondale’s wonderful events, such as Pioneer Nights, which celebrates the end of summer, or the inaugural Carbondalien Festival, commemorating the anniversary of the Carbondale UFO Sighting. During special events, you can take a train from the Steamtown National Historic Site in Scranton to the Carbondale Station.
