Scranton

Montage Mountain

Visit Montage Mountain for year-round adventure and luxury! Lackawanna’s premier winter destination offers skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing. In the summertime, enjoy the waterpark or catch a minor-league baseball game. Montage Mountain also boasts a diverse collection of shops, a movie theater, a concert venue, numerous delicious restaurants, and several community events.

Abington Heights

Abington Heights is a wonderful place to vacation with your pets. It proudly offers pet-friendly accommodations, a dog park, a state park, and several restaurants with dog-friendly outdoor seating. It’s also known for its stunning fall foliage and ice festival. From pickleball to hiking to fishing to ice skating, there’s lots to do outdoors in every season.

Carbondale Area

Carbondale Area features a lovely park, a golf course, a bowling alley, several farmers markets, and many excellent restaurants. At its heart is the City of Carbondale. Explore Carbondale’s Historic Downtown District to discover why it’s called “The Pioneer City” and learn more about its coal mining heritage. The city has even been the location for a movie set and even a UFO sighting!

Dunmore

The charming borough of Dunmore offers a unique blend of outdoor adventures, one-of-a-kind history, and scenic views. Lackawanna Trail

Enjoy Northeast Pennsylvania’s natural beauty by spending time in the Lackawanna Trail region. Two well-outfitted campgrounds offering recreational facilities and fishing opportunities are located in the area. Hike or bike along the trails, visit an animal sanctuary, or take the family to a local fair or carnival.

This beautiful area provides many opportunities to enjoy the outdoors and appreciate the region's agriculture. Lakeland features scenic places to hike, fish, and swim, as well as three golf courses. Mid Valley

Mid Valley’s diverse culinary scene lets you enjoy Italian, Mexican, Asian, Indian, and American pub fare without leaving its three boroughs. North Pocono

Old Forge

Known as “The Pizza Capital of the World,” Old Forge serves up a distinct style of pizza on rectangular trays that dates back to its coal mining days. Riverside
