The Nutcracker by the Ballet Theatre of Scranton is recognized by Dance Magazine as the only ballet production of its kind in the United States. It's honored with the Hometown Star SAGE Award from The Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce and a first-place Pocono Northeast Award. With 100+ dancers, professional sets and costumes, and captivating effects, it has entertained over 350,000 people during its history, including educational performances to over 12,000 school students.
