BONFIRE FALL FESTIVAL

October 2025 • Scranton Iron Furnaces

This annual event, held at the truly unique and historic Scranton Iron Furnaces, explores the roots of Halloween in Celtic culture and celebrates other cultural autumn festivals while highlighting our industrial past. With live music, food and drink vendors, and activities for the kids, the Bonfire Festival at the Scranton Iron Furnaces is an event that will light up your fall!

2011 Bonfire Festival

The annual Bonfire Fall Festival is a major fundraiser for the Anthracite Heritage Museum & Scranton Iron Furnaces that typically draws over 1,000 people to the furnaces each October. All proceeds from the event help the Museum & Iron Furnaces continue their mission of education & preservation of the significant history of Northeast Pennsylvania.
