Lackawanna County Mural Trail

Color yourself impressed because our area is alive with color! Lackawanna County is a hub of artistic expression, and the walls of our area's buildings are no exception. Murals can be found throughout the county, depicting everything from historical events to local wildlife. 

The Office: The Story of Us mural and the Dwight Shrute mural are a must-see for fans of The Office TV show! Another one of the unique murals in Scranton is part of “The Good of the Hive” global mural project and depicts honeybees pollinating colorful flowers. If you're a fan of trains, you'll love the mural in Carbondale that shows a steam locomotive chugging through scenic countryside and the mural in Dunmore featuring a train exiting a tunnel by Nay Aug Falls. One thing is for sure – the murals in Lackawanna County are not to be missed!
