Lackawanna County Visitors Bureau is the official destination marketing organization of Lackawanna County, PA. As the chief storytellers for the Greater Scranton Area, we strategically market the area with regional and national audiences and work to build relationships with visitors, meeting & sporting event planners, and industry professionals. We also provide free educational events and dynamic promotions featuring our Partners.
Tourism is an important industry in the area that brings thousands of vacationers, convention attendees, sporting event participants, and motor coach travelers to Lackawanna County each year. These visitors contribute millions of dollars each year to area lodging establishments, restaurants, attractions, shops, and other businesses throughout Lackawanna County.
Our partnership base is comprised of businesses, organizations, and community stakeholders who believe in providing visitors with an experience that will bring them back year after year. From business suppliers to hotels and attractions and from our unique restaurants to shopping venues – each Partner has an important role and place in our destination!
