The broad range of musical genres such as jazz, rock, hip-hop, rap, country, and more influence the diverse Lackawanna County sound. With annual festivals like Scranton Jazz Festival, Rhythm & Brews Fest, and Mountainfest,  a major concert venue at The Pavilion at Montage Mountain, and intimate shows with local musicians at local establishments and in our picturesque parks, there is live music all around Lackawanna County that's waiting to be heard!

Yearning for more of a classical feel? The NEPA Philharmonic, as well as students at the campuses of The University of Scranton and Marywood University, present many orchestral and symphonic performances throughout the region.
