The Scranton St. Patrick Parade is the largest annual celebration in Lackawanna County. “Parade Day” as it’s known locally, is one of the largest St. Patrick’s parades in the country, regularly attracting 150,000 spectators. The parade boasts over 12,000 participants, including Irish groups and societies, bagpipers, high school and string bands, elaborate floats, Irish dancers, and much more!

The parade route is marked in green and begins on Wyoming Ave. in front of St. Peter’s Cathedral, proceeds through the streets of downtown Scranton and finishes in front of the Reviewing Stage on N. Washington Ave.
