Ragnacci`s Family Restaurant in Dunmore

So disappointed just visited with friends last night both glasses of wine had rather large pieces of foil I'm guessing from seal in my glass they also charged $2 more for broccoli vs carb loaded fries , pasta, or baked potato the broccoli was cooked to a weird texture and some florets white

Great food. Quaint dining room. Self serve salad bar with many choices and cup of soup with all entrees. Seafood, pasta specials. My favorite appetizer is Thia calamari which is on the spicy side but is not always available. Not necessarily need reservations. But advise to call

We had norther and southern italian plates and there was absolutely no difference. Both were bland and the veal parmesan was not fresh made, neither was the gnocchi. The waitress was rude and pretended not to hear me. She said that they don't take credit or debit cards. That's highly unlikely. Never again. Thumbs down with a raspberry.

I'm sorry. Seems like a nice place & the service was good but it was the worst meal I have had in a long time. I had the Admiral feast that was on special for $18. My scallops were chewy & under cooked. Grilled shrimp were ok but tasteless. Stuffed flounder was just mush. Couldn't differentiate between the fish & stuffing. My husband had a special also. Lasagna & Chicken parm. He said the lasagna was not good & the chicken parm was a greasy deep fried patty. I don't know why we even had it packed up because after smelling the bad fish all the way home it all went in the garbage and we were still hungry. The complimentary salad bar was good and the soup was very good.

Food was excellent. I had Filet Neptune which is a filet topped with shrimp and scampi sauce over a toasted baguette. Mmm so good.

What can I say this place is like going to an old Italian family gathering where all the food is just like gramma made it's a little small but I think that's what makes it even better nice bar say hi to Murf that old school great food restaurant your going to leave stuffed or your taking food home and prices are very low

Wanted to try something new and this place had great reviews, but I don't know why. Horrible service. We had to asked to be seated. Never got refills on drinks. Never was served the soup that comes with dinner. The food was nothing I would write home about. Plus it took twenty minutes to get food wrapped up and a bill. I unfortunately left a larger tip than I would have liked but I have a life and needed to get out of there. I do not recommend.

We dined on a Wednesday night so I’m thinking the head chef had the night off? At least I’m going with that reason as to why the food was just... not. Good.We wanted to eat outside and since during covid-19 that was the only place we COULD eat. I have no problem that the tent was set up in their parking lot. Fine. But the salt and pepper packets In Styrofoam containers as well as ketchup packets? The vegetable beef soup tasted like campbells and was also served in a styrofoam bowl. The appetizer was pan seared scallops or so I thought but they were not SEARED. The entree was a stuffed flounder , baked potatoes and canned French green beans. I’ll just say at least you can’t screw up a baked potatoe. My dinner partner just wanted a regulation cheeseburger and fries and it was on par with a fast food burger only it was 8.50. I was glad to finally have had a chance to go to this place but I am one and done and will NEVER return.

This place is great. They have awesome food and the establishment is wonderful. My family and I have been going there for years.

I always judge other restaurants by the quality. Portion ,service and price given time after time at ragnaccis in Dunmore, pa.??always satisfied ,never left there hungry! The staff is always accommodating and friendly.

Went on a Saturday night for first time, I had Shrimp Scampi, amazing. My wife and daughter shared a Prime Rib which was delicious.The service was very good. Will be a regular customer for sure.

Best Restaurant LocalComplimentary bakery, salad bar, freshly brewed decaf, and superb entrees~~~ really best local restaurant !!! No. 1 Italian homemade! Waitress Sandy(hopefully I spelled right for her) is really amicable with great service!Although it took us wait for one hour, it made us feel all worth it.

Always leave too full for dessert . I compare every restaurant to them as they are my cornerstone as far as Italian food goes. BREAD,(WARM). SOUP ALWAYS GREAT sometimes I take a quart home.appetizers always.great the wife's personal favorite is LOBSTER CLAWS. but they don't have them often enough for her.the salad bar is small but fresh and plentiful.the entree ahh yes the Entree. I am between new dentures fitting soon .I could chew the med/rare steak with no problem. As if I were at Ruth Chris steakhouse. Now I'm stuffed .and I get my dessert to go ,walk out side say high to the ROCK (Rocky Marciano) on the wall.feeling good about spending under 50,60,70$ depending on the Entree. Always tip a 20 no matter what. Bring cash .bank machine is next to ROCKY. If you forget

The atmosphere was great. The service was excellent. The food was good but not great. I will be returning. I didn't try much of the food and no dessert so stay tuned for more.

Good food and service

Food was sub par, ordered shrimp parmigiana with spaghetti. They didn’t drain the pasta so everything was soaked in water. Won’t be back, awful!
