Fishing is a popular past time in this area. This park has exploded with the recent development of mountain bike and hiking trails. Over 850 mountainous and lake-front acres. Swimming and play areas are available as well. Follow Route 106 out of Carbondale. Make a left approximately three miles from town, entrance to park on left one mile in. Park is open from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. everday from the first day of trout season in April through October; and from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. the rest of the year. During the winter months the park is subject to closing on county holidays. The park is closed on Christmas Day and Easter Sunday.
