The Garbage Olympics is a part of Scranton City Pride. Bring your friends and get competitive! It is a 2-hour race between local teams to see who can collect the most trash around the community. NeighborWorks Northeastern Pennsylvania provides litter pickers, bags, gloves, glasses, and water. All they need you to do is bring your can-do spirit and a few friends!

There are four prize categories available this year: Most Trash Collected, Most Team Spirit, Strangest Item Found, and Most Volunteers Recruited. Visit the official Garbage Olympics Website for more information. The West Scranton Garbage Olympics will kick off at 10:00 AM at the NeighborWorks Northeastern Pennsylvania Office.

Scranton City Pride is a project of Scranton Tomorrow, NeighborWorks Northeastern PA, and United Neighborhood Centers of Northeastern PA.
