This fun and interactive workshop focuses on the basics of soap making with a summer twist! Participants will learn about soap safety, different methods of making soap, and some common terms related to soaping. They will then be guided through the steps of cold-process soap making to create their very own batch of soap from scratch! This class is designed for beginners who want to learn the process and be creative, with no experience necessary.

The price of this class includes a 2-hour workshop, use of all equipment and ingredients, and each participant's take-home 5 bars of soap! Please note that the batches of soap will need to harden overnight and will be available for pickup starting the following day. Additionally, the bars need to be cured for 4 weeks. This means they’ll need to sit somewhere in your home to harden before use.

Please wear comfortable, older clothing and make sure your arms and legs are covered. You are welcome to bring an apron if you’d like. Participants will wear safety glasses and gloves and are welcome to bring their own. Participants must be 10 years or older to take this class unless accompanied by an adult participant (regular rates apply to each individual). This class is not recommended for children under 7, as participants will be working with caustic chemicals.
