Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Steve Forbert will perform in concert June 1 in Shopland Hall of the Historic Scranton Cultural Center.
The evening's event will begin at 7:30 p.m. with a cocktail party in the Shopland Lobby and singer-songwriter Jesse Bardwell will open the show at 8:30. Mr. Forbert will then take the stage and will perform original works from his prolific career of putting life's stories to music. His best-known song is "Romeo's Tune" (you've heard it many times).
The cocktail party will feature a cash bar and light fare and all proceeds from the evening will benefit the Lackawanna River Conservation Association and its work to improve the Lackawanna River.
