Ride behind a real steam locomotive through an active railroad yard, and above the city streets of historic Scranton, PA--and then, do it all over again! Your ticket to ride this 3-mile round trip of railroad history, taking 30 minutes or so in time, is good for the entire day. Get here early to see the steam locomotive in the Roundhouse, and turn on the turntable.
Tickets cost $5.00 per rider aged 6 and up, and are available to purchase on the day of departure. Children aged 5 and under ride at no cost.
Trains board in the turntable plaza of Steamtown National Historic Site with departures at 10:30, 11:30 1:15 and 2:15. Your ticket allows you to ride more than once if you just can't get enough of trains.
