Do you know an elementary student who loves to read, or perhaps, avoids reading altogether? Bring your own book and sit with a sheep, goat, mini pig, or maybe even an alpaca or a chicken, and read out loud to the animals. Completely nonjudgmental, the animals offer compassion and patience to readers whether they are struggling to read, or flying through chapter books- the animals always meet the children on their levels. This program encourages read-aloud practice but is also open to silent reading as well.

Each session will also include a meet and greet session with the animals in Duncan’s Barn including sheep, goats, pigs, and alpacas.

This event costs $5 per person. Please register by visiting Indraloka Animal Sanctuary's website.
