Journey through the rich tradition of a small family business. Nestled on 150 acres just north of Carbondale, Burke’s family farm has grown from a hobby into a cherished establishment surrounded by sweet maple trees. Join The Greenhouse Project for a special event and private tour. Explore the beauty of the sugar bush, marvel at taps in the trees, and learn about the Burke family and their sugaring process. Follow the enticing aroma to the Sugar Shack, where the sweet scent of maple fills the air. Make sure to stop at the Maple Stand where for a variety of maple goodies, including their pure maple syrup, there to sample and purchase.
Space is limited, so register soon for this private tour and educational demo. Registration is required, and directions and full details will be provided after registration. Please register by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Attendees will receive a confirmation of registration (if space allows), directions, and parking info. This tour is intended for adult visitors. Children are warmly welcome, but the tour is not focused on young visitors. Limit two children under age 16 per adult, please. Wear sturdy shoes and be prepared for mud and weather variations. Layers are suggested. Please arrive with enough time to park.
