The 9th Annual Jog for Jude, held in memory of Jude Zayac who suddenly and tragically passed away on July 23rd, 2014 from S.I.D.S. (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome), is the area's only 5K race raising awareness and funds for S.I.D.S. research. This year's race will be an evening run on Saturday, April 22nd, at 6:30 PM, and celebratory fireworks will cap off the evening's festivities.
Since April 2015, The Jog for Jude Annual 5K Race and Community Celebration has been uniting families in the community to participate in an event that is bigger than the sum of its parts. The race symbolizes the fight against SIDS in our country, with businesses both large and small donating funds that go directly to SIDS research.
This is a Rain or Shine event! All registrations are final and non-refundable. If you cannot submit a time for the event, your registration fee will be considered a donation to the charity. - Races: Timed 5K Run or Fun Run/Walk
- Awards: The Overall Male and Female Champions will receive trophies and prizes, along with medals awarded to the top male and female finishers in each of the following age groups: 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-13, 14-16, 17-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+. Additional prizes will be awarded to the top 3 male/female finishers ages 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+.
