Hug a Tree and Survive

Details

Join Sandcut Outdoors for a potentially life-saving program designed by professional search and rescue workers following the tragic death of a nine-year-old boy who became lost in the woods. This program teaches children how to keep from getting lost, what to do if they become lost, how to stay warm and dry, and how they can help search and rescue personnel find them.

This class is appropriate for children ages 5 to 12 and their guardians. For more information or to register, contact Lackawanna College Environmental Education Center at (570) 842-1506.
