Healthy Kids Day® is the YMCA’s national initiative to improve the health and well-being of kids and families. YMCAs across the country host free community events aimed to inspire kids to keep their minds and bodies active throughout the summer months.
Here in the Greater Scranton community, the event will feature activities that range from a Kids Fun Run and physical activities to a vendor fair and petting zoo. All activities are designed to inspire kids to get active while simultaneously teaching families how to develop routines that support mental and physical health at home.
The event is FREE and open to the community! Pre-registration is not required.
KIDS FUN RUN (meet outside in the back of the facility):
- 10:30 AM - 10:40 AM | Ages 3-5
- 10:45 AM - 10:55 AM | Ages 6-9
- 11:00 AM - 11:10 AM | Ages 10-14
