The Electric City Classic, a project of Scranton Tomorrow, is bringing hundreds of professional and amateur cyclists to Downtown Scranton! The two-day event features the Criterium, or Crit, on Saturday in downtown Scranton, and the Hill Climb on the Olive Street hill in East Scranton on Sunday.
To register in advance, visit electriccityclassic.org/registration. Registration will also be open from 8:15 a.m to 10 a.m. on the day of the event.
Saturday, Aug 27th - Electric City Criterium
A technical 10-turn 1.1-mile circuit in downtown Scranton. Pro Men and Women will race for $10,000 and primes. Racing for Masters, Amateurs, and Handcyclists will also be available.

Sunday, Aug 28th - Electric City Classic Hill Climb Open men and open women's hill climb will be tournament style, riders will be challenged to 20% gradients for cash and schwag prizes. Professional and amateur races will be held, as well as citizen's cycling and running events. The duration of the event depends upon the number of registrants per category.
