Chinchilla United Methodist Church (CUMC) invites the community to participate in the return of their Coffee and Cars events, featuring the Pharoahs Car Club of Scranton (Pharoahs).
Beginning with the 2022 Coffee & Cars season, CUMC and the Pharoahs offered these gatherings twice as often as the previous year. The additional events proved to be popular, so the twice-per-month format will continue for our 2023 season. Beginning Saturday, May 13, 2023, the free Coffee and Cars events at CUMC will be held twice each month on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays, May through October.
All makes, models, and ages of cars are welcome at these events. Antiques, Classics, Customs, or just Well-loved vehicles may be brought out to be shown off and enjoyed by the community. It doesn’t matter what era, color, stance, or age your vehicle may be. The folks from CUMC & the Pharoahs cannot wait to meet you and to check out your ride.
All Coffee & Cars events will be held in the CUMC parking lot, located behind the church at 105 Church Street, South Abington Township, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month May through October. The specific dates for this year’s events include May 13th & 27th, June 10th & 24th, July 8th & 22nd, August 12th & 26th, September 9th & 23rd, and October 14th & 28th.
The finale event for the 2023 Coffee & Cars season, scheduled for Saturday, October 28th, will run from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM and will include additional food offerings such as hot dogs, popsicles, and popcorn as well as kid-centered activities such as Trunk or Treat and other fun kids’ stuff.
