On Saturday, November 4, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the Abington Angels will be returning to host its 10th Annual Marketplace at the Abington Heights Middle School. All proceeds from the Marketplace go directly to the Abington Angels program – the AHCL's charitable program – that supports students and their families who are in need.
What does the Abington Angels program do for these families? In preparation for Thanksgiving, Winter, and Spring breaks, Abington Angels purchase, package and distribute the makings for entire holiday meals, as well as pantry staples for each break. Working from “wish lists” created by the children of these families, Abington Angels purchase, wrap and distribute holiday gifts. Abington Angels gather and prepare gently used clothing for distribution. Abington Angels expanded to include school supplies in Abington's elementary schools.
