Have you pledged to hit the trails on the official Rails to Trails Conservancy Opening Day? We have! We would like to invite you to join us on April 8th, 2017 for a kick off trail bike ride on the Lehigh Gorge Trail.
This scenic ride following the Lehigh River through the Lehigh Gorge State Park is a perfect family outing. Featuring a smooth trail and slight downhill grade for a relaxing day out with time to take in the scenery and maybe even picnic along the way. Scenic waterfalls and historic sites make this a must do trail ride.
The Lehigh Gorge Trail is open from dawn to dusk and is free to the public every day of the year for those that want to enjoy nature. Whether you reserve a trail ride package with Whitewater Challengers or not we expect to see you on the trail on April 8th to kick off the season! For more information about the Lehigh Gorge State Park and its amenities visit the DCNR website.
